Garden Show at The Boulevard

The  Al Hussein Society / Jordan Center for Training and Inclusion, AHS,  has been providing comprehensive programs for children and adults with physical disabilities in Jordan for the past 40 years.  Their programs rely almost entirely on the donations and generosity of local and international organizations as well as the Jordanian community at large. They are Jordan’s best kept secret.

This year in the first time, ever AHS held a Garden Show hosted by the Boulevard. We witnessed beautiful displays by our local farmers, plant importers, landscapes artists, floral designers and events planners, culminating in what was a visual delight attended by thousands of people in Amman. This show was a one – of – a kind event that helped raise awareness about the Center and raise much-needed funds to support its mission for an inclusive society.

Hosted by Boulevard, other sponsors were Jordan Ahli Bank, Amman Academy, Jordan Insurance Co., Umniah, and media sponsors, Fann and Rotana Radio and National Printers.

Several NGOs also participated and added to the knowledge and understanding of local Jordanian flora and fauna- Royal Botanical Gardens, Center for the Built Environment and none other than Ammar Khammash who gave a lecture about the wild beauty of Jordan.

Through the Boulevard, AHS will make this an annual event allowing more visibility not only to itself but also to all those talented plant and flower experts and garden furniture vendors who may otherwise not have such a platform available to them.

So in the spirit of giving Boulevard becomes a supportive partner of the Al Hussein Society.
